Actors Jason Biggs and Jenny Mollen have separated after 18 years of marriage, a spokesperson for the couple confirmed Thursday, Page Six reports.
The pair remains on “great terms” and is focused on co-parenting their two sons, 12-year-old Sid and 8-year-old Lazlo, according to the representative.
Reports of a potential split have circulated for approximately nine months. Despite the separation, the former couple recently spent Biggs’ 48th birthday together this past Tuesday, according to PEOPLE. An insider stated the two remain “very much connected” and expressed confidence they will maintain an amicable relationship moving forward.
Biggs and Mollen, 46, first met in 2007 while working on the film “My Best Friend’s Girl.” The couple became engaged in January 2008 and eloped that April. They later held a formal vow renewal for family and friends in Napa, California, in July 2008.
While the duo has often kept their private life off social media, Mollen’s last public photo with Biggs was shared in November 2025.
The separation follows previous public discussions about challenges in their marriage, Page Six noted. In March 2024, Biggs appeared on Mollen’s “All The Fails” podcast to discuss past struggles with alcohol addiction that he initially hid from his wife.
“I knew how to get wasted enough to where I took myself out of the life equation, took myself out of the present, didn’t have to connect in a way that made me feel things,” Biggs said during the podcast, according to Page Six. He noted that he eventually “made it past that hurdle” with Mollen’s support.
