Meghan Markle had a royally sweet birthday message for her eldest child.
The With Love, Meghan star posted a precious tribute to her and husband Prince Harry’s son Prince Archie to celebrate his 7th birthday on May 6.
“7 years later,” Meghan shared on Instagram. “Happy birthday to our sweet boy.”
Along with the loving message, the 44-year-old also included two snaps of Archie. The first pic showed his face, capturing him as a tiny baby laying under a blanket on his father’s chest as Prince Harry adoringly stared at his son.
In the second photo, Archie could be seen walking along the beach with sister Princess Lilibet, 4, holding a stick as the two held hands with their backs to the camera.
Since becoming a mom, the As Ever founder has learned a valuable lesson in how best to approach being a burgeoning businesswoman—a lesson that came from Archie and Lilibet.

“I’m a mom with kids at that age where they are constantly learning something new. I watch them face things that feel completely insurmountable every day,” Meghan told Harper’s Bazaar in November. “But you can remember and say, ‘I know it seems really hard right now, but trust me, that’s going to come so easily soon.’”
“I can give myself the same grace as a founder,” she explained. “There’s no such thing as perfect.”
In turn, Meghan hopes that she’s able to teach her children though her own entrepreneurial pursuits.
“I hope they see the value of being brave,” she shared. “When you’re young, I think you are a little bit more fearless. As we get older, we lose some of that.”
Of course, every decision is made easier when she has Harry by her side.
“He loves me so boldly, fully,” she told the outlet about her husband of almost eight years, “and he also has a different perspective because he sees media that I wouldn’t.”
“No one in the world loves me more than him,” she raved, “so I know he’s always going to make sure that he has my back.”
