The homemade brunch at a New Jersey restaurant is so good, people drive miles for it

There’s something magical about a brunch spot that actually makes me want to set an alarm on a Saturday, and Hatch44 Café is that rare unicorn. On weekends, I find myself joining the parade of cars cruising through winding roads and busy highways, all chasing the same goal: a plate of homemade goodness from Hatch44’s kitchen. People aren’t just eating here; they’re making memories, one omelet at a time. And yes, those omelets are worth every mile, but the rest of the menu will have you wondering why you ever slept in on weekends. Extra bacon? Always. Metuchen? Already in my GPS.
