Black Bird is based on the novel In with the Devil: A Fallen Hero, A Serial Killer, and a Dangerous Bargain for Redemption, written by Keene, who managed to connect with Hall, who is suspected of committing dozens of brutal murders of young women across the Midwest. Both Egerton and Hauser give phenomenal performances that are bone-chilling and full of unwavering suspense.
