Emily Ratajkowski just gave her 28 million Instagram followers an eyeful — and not everyone was impressed.
The model and author, 34, shared a string of cleavage-baring selfies on Wednesday, May 6, posing in a low-cut polka dot dress that left very little to the imagination. But it wasn’t the outfit she was showing off — it was her freshly painted bedroom walls, now a bold shade of red, that provided the backdrop.
“House is coming along,” Ratajkowski captioned the social media post.
Fellow supermodel Irina Shayk, 40, was clearly a fan, dropping several flame emojis in the comments section. But others weren’t nearly as enthusiastic. Several commenters took issue with the revealing shots, pointing out that Ratajkowski is a mother to 5-year-old son Sylvester, whom she shares with ex-husband Sebastian Bear-McClard.
“You have a son. Have some respect for him. You are beautiful but not [sic] need to prove anything to anyone,” one commenter stated, while another appeared unimpressed with Ratajkowski’s racy pics, writing, “We get it, they’re big.”
Ratajkowski is no stranger to a photo controversy, as In Touch previously reported. Still, she’s built an entire brand around unapologetic self-expression — from her bestselling essay collection My Body to her Inamorata swimwear line.
“I’m more interested in the power women can have by either really engaging with their sexuality or completely avoiding it. Because I do feel like every woman is sort of on the same scale, trying to figure out where and how they want to find that balance,” she told Harper’s Bazaar in 2021.
Off-camera, the New York-based beauty seems to be in a great place personally. Ratajkowski went Instagram official with boyfriend Romain Gavras, 44, in February after the pair were first spotted kissing in New York City last November.
