Two teen alums from TLC's Unexpected are engaged.
Bella Vaughn, 16, has announced her engagement to Hunter Johnson, 14, after the couple appeared on season 7 of the show,
"Now the best thing about my left hand…" she wrote in a TikTok post on Wednesday, "is a ring on it, from the right man."
The post featured two photos of Vaughn's left hand with a diamond engagement ring on her finger.
"From promise ring to engagement ring, I’ll forever love you, Hunter Wesley, and I can't wait to spend the rest of our lives together," Vaughn wrote in her caption.
Vaughn and Johnson were one of several couples whose teen pregnancy journey was chronicled in season 7 of the reality series. They started dating when the former was 12 and the latter was 10, and Johnson discovered that Vaughn was pregnant when he was 12, thus making him the youngest parent featured on the show.
The couple eventually welcomed their baby, whom they named Wesley but affectionately call "Bubba," via a C-section delivery. Unexpected followed up with the family around the time of their son's first birthday in the season finale, which premiered on May 4.
"He's definitely more like Hunter," Vaughn said of her son in the episode. "He's pretty rambunctious."
"I cannot believe I have a 1-year-old 'cause I'm so young," Johnson said.
"I feel like it went by so fast," Vaughn added of her son's first year.
Vaughn's mother, Falen, shared her perspective on the situation in the episode. "I was worried about how things were gonna turn out once Bubba arrived," she said, "but over the last year, Bella has matured and grown up, and Hunter has grown up a lot. He still hates school, but he does go."
Johnson's mother, Stacie, added, "I have seen Hunter grow from literally a little boy-child who didn't really have a clue to a young man who's really learning how to do things and be a parent and learn how to show up and be there."
"I appreciate my parents a lot for supporting us," Vaughn said. "I don't think me and Hunter would still be together and be able to have the life we have now without my parents and Stacie."
Johnson splits his time between his mother's home and his father's home, and he generally does not see Vaughn or his son during the time he spends with his father.
"It is a lot harder just being as good of a dad if I'm … off and on every week," he said in the episode.

Vaughn added, "I know that it's also really hard on Wes because he's a different baby without his daddy."
Vaughn also expressed regret about the couple's situation. "If I could go back and do it differently, we wouldn't have ever had sex," she said. "I shouldn't have done it."
