Nicole Kidman's team weaved some magic for her 2026 Met Gala look.
The actress from the upcoming "Practical Magic" sequel arrived on the steps of New York City's Metropolitan Museum of Art wearing a red long-sleeved Chanel gown. The sequined number featured feathery details on the sleeves and around her hips.
Kidman arrived with her 17-year-old daughter Sunday Rose, who matched in Chanel. The model's floor-length pale pink dress, which also had a feathery texture, took a softer tone than her mom's with purple and blue floral accents.

The New York City event's 2026 theme is "Costume Art," and the dress code is "fashion is art." Guests were encouraged "to express their own relationship to fashion as an embodied art form and celebrate the countless depictions of the dressed body throughout art history."
The 58-year-old actress was among the first to arrive the evening of May 4 due to her role as one of the co-chairs of the Costume Institute Benefit; she's joined by Beyoncé, Venus Williams and lead chairperson Anna Wintour, Vogue's global editorial director.
This marks Kidman's fourth straight year at the annual gala. She walked the red carpet with Keith Urban, whom she divorced last year, in both 2023 and 2024. However, she attended the "Superfine: Tailoring Black Style" celebration solo in 2025 as she dove into the Balenciaga archives for a 1952 gown that paid homage to female dandies.
Prior to this, she and Urban made their Met Gala debut as a couple in 2016. A veteran in this fashion space, Kidman also attended the 2003 and 2005 installments.
With her divorce from Urban finalized as of January, they are following a parenting plan in which the "Scarpetta" actress has primary custody of their daughters, Sunday Rose and 15-year-old Faith Margaret.
The "Moulin Rouge!" star is juggling several projects, including "Big Little Lies" Season 3; however, heading into her daughters' summer vacations, Kidman recently told USA TODAY the three of them are looking forward to spending "our whole summer" together.
She added, "We're going to go have some summer fun."
