Josh Hart turns heads with comment about Philadelphia fans

The New York Knicks swept the Philadelphia 76ers in the second round, finishing the job with a dominant Game 4 win.

The New York Knicks swept the Philadelphia 76ers in the second round of the 2026 NBA postseason, finishing the job with a dominant 144-114 victory at Xfinity Mobile Arena.

As the game slipped further and further out of the 76ers’ reach, it became evident just how many New York fans made the trip to Philadelphia. The organization took precautions to make sure Knicks fans had a hard time getting their hands on tickets for Game 3 and Game 4, but both games were packed with blue and orange.

After the sweep, Knicks guard Josh Hart sent a piercing jab at the 76ers’ fanbase.

“I used to think Philly was a sports town, I don’t know if it is anymore,” Hart said.

Hart is familiar with the area, playing four collegiate seasons with the Villanova Wildcats and helping the program to a national championship title in 2016.
