The real age of new Arizona Cardinals QB Carson Beck revealed

The new Arizona Cardinals quarterback Carson Beck is older than what the internet tells you.

If you look up the age of the new Arizona Cardinals quarterback, Carson Beck, on the internet, it says he’s 23.

The more you look into his history, the more outlets tell you he is 23 and turns 24 in November.

That is wrong.

As the Cardinals possibly look to Beck as their future under center, the truth is that the former Miami Hurricanes quarterback is already 24.

The source? Beck himself.

On Jon Gruden and Barstool Sports’ “QB Class” show, the former Raiders and Buccaneers head coach sat down with Beck before the draft to discuss all things about his process leading up to the big weekend, including his age.

Gruden flat-out asked if Beck was 23 or 24, with Beck responding that he’s 24, and that you shouldn’t believe everything you see on the internet.

Beck was once regarded as a possible No. 1 overall pick when he played at Georgia under Kirby Smart, but injuries and then his extended stay in college with the Hurricanes dropped his stock before the 2026 Draft.

Although there were concerns that he might not be taken until the third and final day in Pittsburgh, the Cardinals took him as the third QB off the board in the class.

Arizona doesn’t have the strongest overall roster or cohesion that a rookie quarterback would usually like to enter, but for Beck, with so much experience, might thrive getting thrown into the chaos.

Beck was not the only signal-caller chosen in the third round, as the Pittsburgh Steelers selected Drew Allar from Penn State to add to the confusion of who will be starting for the team come September.
