He added, "We love life with our family- our kids are healthy&happy, and we are grateful!!!🙏🙏having a blast ❤️Sending all our best wishes- the Madden Family."

The post led with a graphic explaining that the name Nautas comes from the Latin root word nauta, meaning "sailor, navigator, voyager." Diaz commented, "✨❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️✨."

Diaz and Madden are already parents to daughter Raddix, 6, and son Cardinal, 2. When they announced the birth of Cardinal in 2024, Madden noted on Instagram that they would not be posting any photos of him for his "safety and privacy," but added that the newborn was "really cute."

Madden, a member of the rock band Good Charlotte, and Diaz have been married since 2015.

Since 2025, Diaz has been acting again after she stepped away from the screen for more than a decade. Her Netflix action movie "Back in Action" with Jamie Foxx, which debuted in January 2025, marked her first film role since 2014's "Annie."

Speaking with USA TODAY last year, Diaz explained why she decided to take a break from Hollywood, during which time she was able to focus on her family.

"I had been acting for a couple of decades, and I felt like I had done it," she said. "Although I loved making movies, I felt like it was time for me to just do something else, try something else, live a different way. I met my husband, we started our family, and that was where I just wanted to exist. It was a wonderful 10 years."

In April, Diaz starred in her second film since returning to acting: "Outcome," a Jonah Hill-directed Apple TV comedy with Keanu Reeves. She's also set to reprise her voice role as Princess Fiona in the animated sequel "Shrek 5," which is slated for release in 2027.
